Release of their much-anticipated full length self titled album, ‘Hot Mute’. Featuring: Gary Wertz - vocals/guitar, Mark Pistel - guitar, Bruce Aparton - bass/vocals, and Darren Thompson - drums/vocals; plus other special guests. ‘Hot Mute’ was produced and recorded by Mark Pistel at Room Five Recording in San Francisco.
In 2003, Hot Mute released their first recording, the E.P. ‘Extended
Player’, to critical acclaim, building a large and loyal following throughout the SF Bay Area. ‘Extended Player’ unleashed a heavy dose of powerful, melody driven pop rock music with a postmodern twist, in the tradition of Cheap Trick, and the seventies bliss of the Cars, Bowie and Queen.
Flash forward to 2006, and Hot Mute continues to combine rock and roll
with a compelling pop sensibility. Hot Mute’s full-length release is
enthralling, imaginative, hugely entertaining and incredibly rocking. |
